INSTRUCTORSForrest McClelland Forrest McClelland (Mac), President of McClelland Aviation Company, Inc., is an honors graduate of the University of Illinois and completed his Masters’ degree at Sangamon State University. He is a commercially rated pilot and licensed aircraft mechanic. An active Gold Seal flight instructor, Forrest serves as a federally designated accident prevention counselor and is an acknowledged speaker at both state and federal aviation seminars. Andrew Hamm During his time in High School he completed his Private Pilot certificate at McClelland Aviation and later went on to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He graduated from Embry Riddle in 2009 with a bachelors degree in Aeronautical Science with a Specialization in Airline Pilot. Additionally he obtained his flight certificates and ratings at the school which include: Commercial Certificate, Multi-engine rating, Instrument rating, Certified Flight Instructor, and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument. Brian Borecky Brian Borecky has been a pilot since 1972. He acquired his commercial rating in 1977 and his flight instructor rating in 1985. Brian has air taxi and commuter experience and was part owner of an FBO. He had been the Springfield Chapter President of the Illinois Pilots Association since 2000 and was elected to State President of the Association in May of 2006. He works part-time teaching private and commercial pilots.
